Miguel Torres is the WEC Bantamweight champion and will be defending his title against Brian Bowles in WEC 42 on Sunday August 9, 2009 in Las Vegas Nevada. The bout will be shown on Cable TV on the VERSUS channel.
Torres is one of our most favorite fighters to watch as he is incredibly technical and has intense quickness. He is ranked as the #1 Bantamweight fighter in the world and is the top 10 among pound for pound fighters. It’s evident from his 37-1 record with 17 consecutive wins. Quite impressive – Brian Bowles will have his work cut out for him that’s for sure.
